Welcome to the Art Journalling for Wellbeing Group based in Wokingham, Berkshire.
We are here for anyone who is curious about how art can boost our health and wellbeing.
Our group started back in 2019, after some fun college courses in the Wokingham area got people interested in a more regular get-together.
Then, well, Covid happened and things changed a bit.
We've got a monthly in-person session happening in Wokingham library on the first Saturday of each month
and as 2025 commences we will be adding more sessions on a weekly basis around the borough.
Plus, every Wednesday evening, there's a Zoom class you can jump into from the comfort of your own home.
We are keen to bring more sessions to the local communities so if you think this is something your company,
charity or community group would enjoy, please reach out and we would be happy to discuss your needs.

FAQs
What facilities are available?
Our monthly Saturday afternoon group meets at Wokingham Library which is
now located in the new Carnival Hub on Wellington Road.
There is ample parking & it's also close to public transport links.
There is also a Costa coffee bar on-site meaning you can
get your caffeine hit at the same time if you wish!
What materials do I need to bring?
Any art materials that you like working with. We do provide basic materials such as
paper & pencils etc but most students prefer to bring their own stash!
As no one student has the same materials we ensure all sessions are
achievable for all students regardless of the materials they like using.
Do I have to be good at art?
No! Please don't worry that you aren't able to draw.
The projects & techniques we use can be tailored to meet
everyones abilitiies, meaning they are achieveable for all.
